Grant Collins

Licensed Acupuncturist (LAC), Master Science of Oriental Medicine (MSOM)

Grant Collins graduated from the distinguished Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. His interest in acupuncture stemmed from his extensive martial art training, in which he witnessed acupuncture's healing and revitalizing ability. Since graduating in 2003, he has dedicated himself to improving the quality of life in his patients in California's South Orange County.

Although he works with patients from all walks of life, one of Grant's specialties lies in working with people in recovery. He is the Director of the Alternative Medicine Program at the South Coast Recovery Center in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Grant also teaches weekly and monthly courses in Oriental Medicine and Nutrition in the dynamic lecture series, The Five Secrets of Feeling Fantastic, and is completing a book and DVD series on the same subject.

Grant Collins continues his martial arts training and actively competes as a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and practices Qi Gong daily. Training in martial arts since the age of 16, Grant Collins also holds a second-degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a first degree Black Belt in Hapkido. Grant credits the discipline and tenacity learned in martial arts training to the success he creates with each of his patients. It is his only focus and goal that each patient overcomes his or her existing challenge and returns to the healthier lifestyle so deserved.
